Airtel Kenya has announced the introduction of a new range of affordable and flexible calling rates, effective immediately.

With the new Pamoja bundles, Airtel consumers can gain up to 2.5 times more talk time depending on the bundle they choose.

During the festive season, Pamoja bundles will allow family and friends to come together while achieving cost savings. Now there’s a reason to celebrate.

Customer calling needs vary day by day.  Now with Pamoja bundles, Airtel Customers can choose a tariff every day which matches their needs, making the most of their cash flow that day.

In addition to giving real value, Airtel's new Pamoja bundles include smaller denominations with prices ranging from two cents up to five cents per second, because we know every cent counts whether at home, work or school.

With effect from today, Airtel's PrePaid customers will pay less to make calls from Airtel when they choose any of the affordable Pamoja bundles. 

Customers can subscribe to the Pamoja bundles by simply dialling *767# from their Airtel phones and choosing their preferred bundle.

Out of bundle, the Airtel to Airtel rate is six cents per second, and the rate to other networks will be six cents per second.

The Pamoja voice bundles complement the existing selection of Airtel data and SMS packages tailored to individual consumer needs.

Thanks to the recently announced SMS bundles, Airtel customers are now able to send SMS messages to any network in Kenya for as low as 20 cents.

The recent drive towards creating value by Airtel continues to aid mobile penetration in Kenya.  The Communications Commission of Kenya reports that penetration jumped to 75pc this year up from 46pc two years ago.

With these new flexible bundles, Kenyans will talk more and gain more for every second of talk time.
